Locomation is founded by five very seasoned autonomy experts from Carnegie Mellon University. When we looked at the trucking industry we identified a couple of pain points that needs to be addressed today. As a first step we decided to focus on autonomous truck convoy which we think of as a great opportunity to start deploying commercially much sooner than fully driverless solutions. Our technology starts providing commercial benefits today with a clear roadmap to higher levels of autonomy that will only make your fleets more efficient, safer and more comfortable to drive in in the long term. Our technology will come pre-installed on the trucks but in the short term we are going to make our autonomy technology available as a retrofit kit to be installed on the existing tracks of existing fleets. We are looking for the right partners to revolutionize the transportation industry one step at a time.
